As a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of IOT at Vellore Institute of Technology’s School of Computer Science & Engineering, I have a keen interest in pedagogy and am actively involved in creating academic standards and evaluating new course materials. My current research focus is on bioinformatics and the trans disciplinary applications of computer science and engineering. In my work, I have primarily used machine learning, data mining, statistics, and performance evaluation to improve existing systems. In addition to my research responsibilities, I am also one of the Moodle administrators at VIT, responsible for user authentication and course enrollment on the Moodle LMS, which can be accessed at https://moovit.vit.ac.in/. I maintain a webpage called “Teaching with Moodle” to assist faculty members in using Moodle for blended learning.
