This talk introduced MOODLE (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) and its application in effective course design. It covered strategies for integrating formative and summative assessments using Moodle’s activities and resources. The session demonstrated how to enhance student engagement through gamification (e.g., XP plugin, H5P branching scenarios) and support language teaching using forums, audio assignments, and other plugins. Finally, faculty-specific resources and support steps—particularly within VIT Vellore’s Moodle infrastructure—were highlighted.
